World Records

Congratulations to James Phillips for breaking the single group 600 yard HG world record at St. Louis with his .22 Dasher.

The St. Louis measurement was 1.174" for a five shot group shot in the heavy class. The Light Gun class benchrest rifle shown above is the rifle that he used to do it. He also shot a 55 - 5X score (1.507")in the Light Gun class with the same rifle and a 6.5/284 Hart barrel for another world record. James also holds the Heavy Gun class score agg world record with a 200-5X (4.4853"). The rifle is built on a 40XBR action, pillar bedded into a Shehane tracker stock and has Hart barrels for it in .22-243, .22 Dasher, 6.5/284 and 6mm/284.
